Serenities AI™

Build your site

Describe your site. Then change it by asking.

Tell the AI what your business does and it builds your website: the pages, the forms and the look. Then you change anything by asking, add sign-in and payments when you need them, and publish when you are happy.

Start freeNo credit card
Example. An example. The owner asks the chat for a booking site for their yoga studio. The AI replies that it has built a home page, a classes page and a booking form, and asks if anything should change. The owner asks for a friendlier headline. The site, Calm Studio, shows a home page with three class cards, and it is published.

Describe it. See it. Change it.

What it is

A website you build by talking to it, then publish yourself.

Build your site is where you make your business website in Serenities. You describe what you want in the chat, in plain words, and the AI builds the pages for you. You can see the site as you go.

The same screen holds the other things a website needs, with their real names: sign-in for your visitors (Authentication), who may see which page (Access Control), card payments (Payments), the things you sell (Monetization), and your web address (Domain). Each one is a switch or a short form. You turn on only what you need.

The chat is the quick way in, not the only way. You can also click an element and edit it, work in the code editor, keep a copy in GitHub, or build from your own AI app. All of them change the same site.

What you can use it for

What people use it for

Six uses, each with the feature that does it.

A website for my business, without learning to code.

Describe it in the chat and the AI builds the pages. You change them by asking, or by clicking an element and editing it.

Done with: Sites > New Site > Describe your idea, or the Build a site card on your dashboard.

A contact form, so people can reach me.

Ask the chat: "Add a contact form so visitors can reach me" (the Add a contact form chip). What people send can be saved as rows in a table in your Base, with the Public form rule: visitors can add a row, only you can read the rows.

Done with: the Add a contact form chip, Base and Access Control.

A members-only area.

Turn on sign-in under Config > Authentication, add people under Users or let them sign up, then choose which pages need a log-in under Access Control. A page that needs sign-in shows a Protected badge in your pages list.

Done with: Authentication, Users and Access Control.

Selling a membership, a course or a pass.

Paste your Stripe secret key under Config > Payments, then create what you sell under Config > Monetization > Products. Buying a product gives the buyer access to whatever you have locked behind it.

Done with: Payments and Monetization.

My own web address, like calmstudio.com, instead of the free one.

Add it under Config > Domain (on plans that include it).

Done with: Domain.

Building my own way.

Use the chat, click-to-edit, the Code Editor under Config, an optional GitHub copy under History & Backup, or your own AI app through Your AI > Connect your AI.

Done with: the chat, Edit, Code Editor and Your AI.

01Describe it and let the AI build it

Describe it and let the AI build it.

Create your account (Create account, or Continue with Google). Then start in either of two places.

  • From your dashboard: on Chat, pick the Build a site card (it only fills the message box with "Build me a site that "), finish the sentence and send it. When the AI has made the site, its reply carries a button Open <site name>.
  • From Sites: open Sites in the left rail and press New Site. Choose Describe your idea ("Start blank and build it by chatting with AI."), give it a name if you like (Site name is optional), pick a Starting style (it sets your colours and fonts, and you can change it later in the Brand Kit) and press Create site. Or choose Start from a template, which takes you to the Marketplace to pick a ready-made site.

Then tell the AI what to build in the chat on the left of the site screen.

Example. The Create a new site window with two choices: Describe your idea, which starts blank and builds by chatting with AI, and Start from a template, which opens the Marketplace.

02Change anything by asking, or by clicking

Change anything by asking, or by clicking.

The site screen has three tabs: Design, Email and Config. On Design the chat is on the left and your site is on the right.

  • Ask: type what you want ("make the headline friendlier"). The chat has two modes: Build (the AI makes changes) and Discuss (the AI only talks, and changes nothing). The chips above the box give you starting points, such as Add a page, Change colors & fonts, Add a contact form, Add sign-in and Take payments.
  • Click: press Edit, click an element on the page and change its text, colours and links. The buttons for Mobile view, Tablet view and Desktop view show how it looks on each screen.
  • Go back: every change, whether you or the AI made it, is saved as a version. Press History at the top. Each version has Preview (look at it without changing anything), Restore to here (put the whole site back to that version; you are asked to confirm, and restoring is reversible) and Undo this change on the newest change; on an older one the button reads Undo only this and keeps everything made after it.
Example. The History panel with three saved versions tagged AI, You and AI, and the buttons Preview and Restore to here.

03Add pages, forms and a place to keep what people send

Add pages, forms and a place to keep what people send.

Your pages are listed under Config > Pages (name, path and status). A switch on each page sets it to Published or Draft; a Draft page is left out when you publish. You can also ask the chat ("Add a page for ...").

If your site collects anything (a contact form, sign-ups, orders), it needs somewhere to keep it. That is a Base: your database. A Base is a set of tables, like spreadsheets.

Your site reads one linked Base, which you choose under Config > Base. Ask the chat ("Store my sign-ups and orders in a table") and it sets this up. You open your Bases from Base in the left rail.

Example. The pages list of Calm Studio: Home, Classes and Book a class are published, and Members library is published and shows a Protected badge.

04Choose who signs in and who sees what

Choose who signs in and who sees what.

Your visitors sign in only if you switch it on. These are the steps, all under Config.

  • Go to Config > Authentication and switch on Enable Authentication. Two more switches sit beside it: Allow Signup (when it is off, you can still add people yourself) and Email Verification.
  • People who sign up appear under Config > Users. You can add, delete or reset the password of any of them.
  • Under Config > Access Control, create Roles (for example "vip" or "support") and set who can see what. You can also ask the chat ("Make a page members-only").
  • Press Re-publish Site so the change reaches the live site.

A page has no rule until you set one, and a page with no rule is open to everyone. Your data is different: with no rule, only you can read or change it.

Example. Two small panels. A visitor who is not signed in sees Members only, join to watch. Maya R., a member, sees three videos.

05Take payments

Take payments.

Card payments run through your own Stripe account.

  • Go to Config > Payments. On the Stripe row, paste your Stripe secret key (the screen links to where to find it in Stripe) and press Save. This is a key you copy from your Stripe account, not a Stripe sign-in.
  • If the row shows Finish setup (enable payment confirmation), press it. When it is done the row says Connected — payments unlock access automatically.
  • A Test / Live switch controls whether card payments are real. Going live asks you to confirm, because customers will be charged real money.
  • Under Config > Monetization > Products, press New product. Fill in the name, the price, whether it is a One-time payment or a Subscription, and how long access lasts (Forever or A number of days).
  • You can also take bank transfers or cash: Bank transfer / cash shows your instructions and a list of requests for you to approve.
Example. The Products tab with one product, Class pass, a one-time payment of 40 dollars, and a New product button.

06Publish, then use your own web address

Publish, then use your own web address.

Publishing puts the site on the web. You can take it offline again.

  • Press Publish Site. The button shows its progress (Preparing, Installing, Compiling, Uploading, Finalizing). When it is done you see "Published", and Visit site opens the live address. After later changes the button says Re-publish Site.
  • A new site goes live on a serenitiesai.app address. Under Config > Domain you can change the first part of that address.
  • To use your own web address (on plans that include it), go to Config > Domain and follow the four steps on the screen: Choose your address and click Save, Add the records at your domain provider, Click Verify, and (if you want it to work without www) Make it work without www. A status panel shows when it is working.
  • To take the site offline, use the arrow next to the publish button and choose Unpublish.
Example. The publish button in the middle of publishing, at the Compiling stage, and the Domain screen with calmstudio.com marked Verified.

What it can't do

What to know before you start.

  • The AI can get things wrong. Look at the site in the preview before you publish. If you don't like a change, History takes you back.
  • History covers your pages and components. It keeps the last 100 changes, and everything from the last 30 days. It does not bring back emails that were sent or payments that were taken, and it is not a backup of the rows in your Base.
  • Some steps are always yours. You paste your own Stripe secret key, you confirm going live with card payments, and you add the records at your own domain provider. Nobody else can do those for you, because they happen in your accounts.
  • People sign in with an email and a password. Signing in with Google is not available for the people who use your site.
  • Changes reach the live site when you publish. After you change pages or settings, press Re-publish Site.
  • Free plan: one site, published on a serenitiesai.app address, with a Serenities badge on it. Paid plans remove the badge and allow more sites. Your own web address and some extras, such as backend functions and npm packages, come with plans that include them. The exact numbers are on the Pricing and Limits pages.
  • Your own web address: A www address works with every domain provider. A bare address (calmstudio.com with no www) only works if your domain's DNS is managed by Cloudflare. If you use Cloudflare, switch its proxy off for that record (the grey cloud).

Quick answers

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want in the chat and change things the same way. A few steps are done by you in your own accounts: pasting your Stripe key if you take card payments, and adding records at your domain provider if you use your own web address.

Can I take payments?

Yes, with your own Stripe account. Paste your Stripe secret key under Config > Payments, then create what you sell under Config > Monetization > Products. Payments can be one-time or a subscription. You can also take bank transfers or cash and approve each one yourself.

Can I keep some pages for members only?

Yes. Switch on sign-in under Config > Authentication, then choose who can see each page under Config > Access Control. A page with no rule is open to everyone, so set the rule for any page you want kept back.

Can I use my own web address?

Yes, on a plan that includes it. Under Config > Domain you choose your address, add the records the screen shows at your domain provider, then press Verify. On the Free plan your site is published on a serenitiesai.app address.

What if I don't like what the AI did?

Press History. Every change is saved as a version. You can look at an older version (Preview), put the whole site back to it (Restore to here), or undo one change (Undo this change). It covers your pages and components. It does not unsend an email.

Can I build some other way, or with my own AI?

Yes. Besides the chat you can click to edit, use the code editor under Config, or connect a copy to GitHub under History & Backup. You can also build from your own AI app that can add a connector, using Your AI > Connect your AI. See Use your own AI.

How many sites can I have?

The Free plan has one site. Paid plans have more; see Pricing for the current plans. A published site on the Free plan shows a Serenities badge, which paid plans remove.
